Vigil Health Solutions Inc. (“Vigil”), creators of technology for long-term
care, is pleased to announce the completion of its move to its new corporate offices at the Vancouver Island Technology Park. A ribbon cutting ceremony and open house held November 3, 2004, marked the occasion.

President and CEO Jim Kirker greeted guests at the new premises; “This move represents a significant milestone and an investment in the future of the company. Vigil’s technology is currently utilized in ten facilities on Vancouver Island and we are pleased to be able to share this occasion with the Victoria community.”

The event featured guest speaker District of Saanich Councillor, Vic Derman. In addition, Marilynne Convey, formerly the Administrator of Vigil’s first North American facility site, Heritage Woods at Juan de Fuca Priory in Goldstream, assisted with the ribbon cutting. Ms. Convey played an integral role in the introduction of Vigil’s revolutionary technology to the North American market. Guests toured the new product testing and demonstration areas, and Vigil provided demonstrations of the award-winning Vigil Dementia System.

“The Company’s steady growth in size since our first facility installation at the Priory in 1998 necessitated a larger site in order to expand operations and meet company goals. The new facility meets our development and testing needs, allows us to continue to hire staff, while the loading bay accommodates our increasing shipping and receiving requirements,” said Jim Kirker. “We anticipate that this move will have a positive affect on our
employees and our productivity.”
