Bike Lockup
The Vancouver Island Technology Park is fortunate to be located in a large grid of biking trails that covers the Glendale Valley. Trails such as the Saanich Centennial Trail and the Galloping Goose make it easy for bike enthusiasts to travel to and from the Vancouver Island Technology Park.
To accommodate the large abundance of cyclists, the Vancouver Island Technology Park provides its tenants with a fully-secured bycycle lockup facility. Equipped with 24-hour camera surveillance, the Bicycle Lockup Room can comfortably hold 80 bicycles. In addition, the Vancouver Island Technology Park provides cyclists with lockers, which can be rented on a monthly basis for $10 per month. VITP’s steadfast commitment to bicyclists will also be reflected in the new Master Plan. VITP will implement designated bicycle lanes so riders can safely travel to and from the Tech Park. In addition, each new building will have necessary shower and locker facilities for future cyclists at VITP.
