The BCAS is Canada’s only provincially operated ambulance service, and provides emergency pre-hospital treatment and transportation by ambulance to the public and visitors to BC.The VITP location is one of three regional dispatch centres, which provide call-taking and call assessment services. The location is also home to the Provincial Air Ambulance Coordination Centre (PAACC).
